Im Paul Breen, and I'm the owner of The Lovely Food Company. For almost 20 years, I have worked as a chef in both Ireland and the UK. After training in Dublin and Galway,  I moved between restaurants, country manors and hotels here in Ireland and the North of England.

The Lovely Food Company is my first restaurant, and I'm very excited by how it has been received by the people of Terenure.

It was always my intention to create a welcoming and relaxing restaurant, buzzing with mums and toddlers, business meetings and locals sipping coffee and enjoying our food.

We open every day for Breakfast and Lunch. Tuesday to Saturday we also serve dinner from 5:30pm with last orders at 9:30pm.

Every Monday we host our cookery school, where you get to learn all our secrets, eat and drink until your full and watch us cook live.

I'm in the restaurant almost every day, if I'm not there then our amazing manager Margaret can be found buzzing around tending to guests every wish.

The Lovely Food Co is open every day for Breakfast,
Brunch and Lunch right up until 4pm.

Dinner is served Tuesday to Saturday from 5:30pm
with last orders at 9:30pm.

Our Chefs change the evening dinner menu every 6 weeks so there is always something new.

Opening Hours:
Monday 8:30am until 5pm, Tuesday to Friday 8:30am, last orders at 9:30pm, Saturday from 10am with last orders at 9:30pm and Sunday from 10am until 5:00pm.

Recipe For Chocolate Truffle and Mars Bar Cheesecake.
 
250 g plain chocolate biscuits
150 g butter, melted plus and extra 20 g butter
300 ml thickened cream
2 tablespoons brown sugar
50 g milk chocolate, chopped finely
3 teaspoons gelatin 60 ml boiling water
2 (250 g) packets softened cream cheese
110 g caster sugar 3
(60 g) Mars bars, finely chopped
The Cookery School runs every Monday from 7pm until 9pm and books out weeks in advance, its the most fun you can have with a glass of wine in one hand and a plate of food in the other.

Our Cookery Classes are a huge success and fill fast.
Each class cost €25 and we suggest you arrive hungry and leave the car at home so you can enjoy a complimentary glass or two.
